Northcliffe Community Development Inc (NCD)consists of residents of the town who have been meeting with the assistance of Gail Laing to consider the future economic and social development of the town.

The Group is considering the establishment of a Community Development Foundation or Council that can among other things support and initiate community action whether this is lobbying for new or improved services or assisting new enterprises..

The group has involved around 25 voluntary participants who are assisted with meetings and support by Gail Laing from the Department of Community Development. It has been meeting on a regular basis for about twelve months.

Small working groups are established from time to time and various people volunteer to carry out agreed tasks between meetings. An email list keeps other members of the community informed about the meetings, ideas and activities in addition to normal face to face communications.

The The NCD meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7.30 pm and all commnjity members are welcome to attend.

The NCD publishes the monthly community newspaper the Northcliffe Karri Pigeon , Deadline for copy is the 25th of each month
