The Northcliffe Telecentre is a community organisation - but what is it?

The Telecentre provides the Northcliffe community with fast broadband accesss to the Internet, computers with a good variety of software, printing and office facilites, a Centrelink point of access, and computer skills training programs.

The Telecentre is run by a local management committee and the services help to reduce the disadvantages of distance and community size.  It provides many skills, services, equipment and support to local projects and and activities. It's a great place for individuals and has also contributed to many local projects in the town since it started in 1994.

It hopes to increase awareness of information and communication technologies in Northcliffe and support a growing use of online activity for education, bill payments and banking, leisure interests and business.
